Services for Postpartum and New Parent Support

Postpartum Doula

Bringing a baby home is a beautiful and transformative experience—but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and emotional. As your postpartum doula, I’m here to provide calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental support in those tender early weeks, so you can focus on healing, bonding, and finding your rhythm as a new parent.

Each visit is tailored to your unique needs and may include:

  • Emotional Support: A listening ear, a warm presence, and reassurance through the emotional highs and lows of new parenthood.

  • Infant Care Assistance: Diapering, soothing, feeding support, and helping you feel more confident in caring for your baby.

  • Feeding Support: Whether you’re breastfeeding, formula feeding, or doing a combination, I provide encouragement and troubleshooting within my scope (I am not a lactation consultant but can offer helpful, practical support and referrals if needed).

  • Support for Rest and Recovery: I’ll care for your baby while you shower, nap, or simply take a quiet moment for yourself.

  • Light Household Tasks: Tidying, baby laundry, bottle or pump part washing, and meal/snack prep to keep your space functioning and peaceful.

  • Education and Resources: Guidance on newborn care, recovery, and what’s normal in the postpartum period, plus referrals to trusted professionals when needed.

  • Gentle Sibling Support: Helping older siblings adjust and feel included while you tend to your newest arrival.

Support is available during the day or overnight. My goal is to meet you where you are—with kindness, experience, and a steady presence you can count on.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is a natural option chosen by many new parents to support their postpartum recovery. Your placenta is prepared, dehydrated, ground into powder, and placed into easy-to-take capsules—allowing you to potentially benefit from its nutrients in a gentle, accessible way.

If safety allows, you can choose between raw method (the placenta is dehydrated from a raw state) or steamed method (the placenta is first steamed with herbs and then dehydrated). Many people consider the steamed method to be traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), however TCM is much more involved and requires an in-depth consultation of medical history and intensive knowledge on herbalism.

Raw vs steamed method can be discussed during a consultation and/or before I process. Things like GBS+ test requires steamed method for safety reasons.

Placenta tincture is made by steeping a small portion of raw or dehydrated placenta in high-proof alcohol for several weeks, creating a long-lasting remedy.

While scientific research is still evolving, many people report the following benefits:

  • Improved mood and emotional balance

  • Increased energy and reduced fatigue

  • Enhanced milk production

  • Smoother hormonal transition

My placenta encapsulation service includes:

  • Safe, respectful handling of your placenta from start to finish

  • Pickup and drop-off within a designated service area (about 50 miles from 07832)

  • A labeled jar of capsules and simple usage guidelines

  • Optional placenta tincture add on

  • Optional umbilical cord keepsake

I follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure your peace of mind. This service is typically completed within 48–72 hours of placenta pickup, so you can begin using your capsules during the early days of recovery.

Rates:

Placenta encapsulation - $350

Placenta tincture (add on only) - $25 per 2oz bottle

Cord keepsake (add on only) - $20

If you’re interested in encapsulation or have questions about the process, I’d love to connect with you. Let’s talk about whether this support feels right for your postpartum plan.

Custom Breast Milk Soap

Breast milk is often called “liquid gold” for good reason—and now, you can preserve some of that magic in a beautiful, nourishing way. My custom breast milk soap is a gentle, handcrafted bar made using your own milk, combined with high-quality, skin-loving ingredients. It’s a natural way to care for sensitive skin—especially for babies, postpartum moms, or anyone who values clean, minimalist skincare.

Each batch is:

  • Handmade in small batches with care and intention

  • Formulated with organic oils and butters (like coconut, avocado, and shea)

  • Gently scented with natural essential oils—or made completely unscented, depending on your preference

  • Custom labeled and packaged for gifting or personal use

  • Suitable for use on hands, body, or even as a sentimental display

Whether you're celebrating a breastfeeding milestone, honoring your body’s journey, or gifting something truly meaningful, these soaps are a beautiful way to turn your breast milk into something lasting.

How it works:
Contact me to place an order. After placing your order, you’ll receive instructions for safely storing and delivering your breast milk (frozen is fine!). A minimum amount of milk is required per batch (9oz of milk will get you about 10 bars of soap!). Soap is best after being cured for 6 weeks or more but is able to be used right away.
